A Private Room That Does the Work
The Executive Suite is our private dining room at 126 Bradford St NE, seating up to 28 guests behind a door of their own. It comes with a coordinator who plans the night with you, two servers who work your event and nothing else, and a screen on the wall for anyone who needs to present.
You are not renting an empty room and filling in the gaps yourself. Warm light, wood, brass, and glassware set down the length of the table do the work a rented ballroom would ask you to do with centerpieces and a rental order. From the first pour to the final course, our team handles the details so you can be fully present with your guests.
Occasions in the Suite
Rehearsal Dinners
The night before the wedding, with the people who matter most. One long table, two servers on the room, and a menu settled in advance so nobody is reading a list while the toasts are waiting.
Corporate & Business Dinners
Board dinners, client entertaining, and team milestones. The suite has a plug-and-play 75″ screen for presentations, and the pacing is built around when you need the room's attention.
Birthdays & Anniversaries
A milestone birthday or an anniversary that deserves more than a corner table. Bring a cake and a toast, and let the room handle the rest of the occasion.
Engagement Parties
An engagement dinner or a shower that runs on real food and a real room instead of a rented hall, a folding table, and a caterer you have never met.
Celebrations of Life
A quiet room and a warm meal for family and friends after a service. Tell us what the evening needs and we will keep it unhurried and handled.
Holiday & Company Parties
Company dinners and holiday parties through the season. December fills early, so put your date down before your team starts asking about it.
Large Groups
Parties too big for a standard reservation. The suite is a true private party room: one long table when you want a single conversation, or grouped tables when you want several.
Graduations & Retirements
Graduation weekends and retirement dinners go quickly. Book the room early and spend the night with your people instead of managing it.
Exclusive Events
Mondays are held for exclusive events by reservation. If your evening calls for the quietest possible building rather than one room, start that conversation early.

Booking the Room
1. Send us the details
Use the form below with your date and a backup date, your guest count, the occasion, whether you need the television, and roughly where you want food and beverage to land per guest. The more you tell us in that first message, the faster we come back with something real.
2. Build the menu together
Your coordinator shapes a short menu from our steak and chef's selections: a few starters for the table, three or four mains, and sides passed family style. Give people a range on the main course, and flag allergies while you are confirming rather than on the night.
3. Arrive and let it run
The room is set before your first guest walks in. If you want a cocktail hour first, gather at the bar during happy hour and move into the suite once the table is ready. For a longer walk through the planning, read our guide to planning a private dinner in Gainesville.

A Look Inside
Private Dining Questions
How many guests fit in the private dining room?
The Executive Suite seats up to 28 guests. That ceiling is a real one rather than a soft suggestion. Two servers work your event and nothing else, and 28 is where that level of attention still holds all the way through the night.
What is included when I book the private dining room?
The room itself, a dedicated event coordinator who plans the evening with you beforehand, two professional servers working your event exclusively, and a plug-and-play audio and video system with a 75 inch television. The room already looks the part, so nobody has to haul in decor to make it feel like an occasion.
What kinds of events do you host in the private room?
Rehearsal dinners, corporate and board dinners, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, engagement parties, celebrations of life, holiday and company parties, graduation dinners, and retirement dinners. If your occasion is not on that list, ask anyway.
Do you have a private party room for groups?
Yes. The Executive Suite is a private party room for up to 28 guests, separate from the main dining room, with its own two servers. It works as one long table for a single conversation or as grouped tables for a more social evening.
Can we run a presentation or a slideshow?
Yes. The suite has a plug-and-play audio and video system with a 75 inch television. Tell your coordinator in advance and they will shape the pacing around it. Presentations and toasts land best after the entrées are cleared rather than between courses.
What nights is the private dining room available?
Dinner runs Tuesday through Sunday from 5:00 to 10:00 PM. Mondays are held for exclusive events by reservation, which is worth knowing if you want the quietest possible building for a board dinner or a company milestone.
Can we choose the menu ahead of time?
Yes, and you should. A short set of options decided in advance is the single biggest difference between a private dinner that flows and one that stalls. Your coordinator will build it with you. Tell them about allergies when you confirm the menu rather than when you walk in.
Where is CHR Steak, and where do guests park?
126 Bradford St NE in downtown Gainesville, Georgia. Parking is easier than most guests assume: downtown has free public parking decks and free two-hour street parking around the historic square.
How far in advance should I book a private dinner?
Earlier than feels necessary. One room means one party per night, and the dates people want most, holiday weeks, graduation weekends, and Saturdays in general, go first.
Is there a dress code for private events?
CHR observes a smart casual dress code. For most guests that means they can come as they are from an office and still feel right in the room. Saying so in your invitation saves somebody the anxiety.
