Dress Code

CHR Steak in downtown Gainesville, Georgia, has a smart casual dress code: collared shirts or polos with tailored pants or dark jeans, or blouses, dresses, skirts, and stylish separates. Athletic wear, gym shorts, sweatpants, tank tops, flip-flops, beachwear, and caps or hats are not permitted, except formal headwear worn for cultural or religious reasons.

We strive to create an atmosphere of timeless elegance where tradition meets taste. To preserve that refined dining experience for all of our guests, we kindly ask that you observe the dress code.

What is Smart Casual?

Smart casual means polished, comfortable, and appropriate for an upscale dining environment. For gentlemen, collared shirts or well-fitted polos paired with tailored pants or dark jeans are recommended. Jackets are welcome but not required. For ladies, blouses, dresses, skirts, or stylish separates are perfect choices.
